Website privacy policy

The INPM website does not ask for health information. It collects the email address you choose to leave in our contact form and general usage statistics through Google Analytics. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising. Medical information you share as a patient is protected separately under HIPAA.

Last updated

This policy explains how the website of Integrated Neurology & Pain Management (INPM) at inpmclinic.com handles information. It covers this website only. How we protect your medical information as a patient is described in our Notice of Privacy Practices, effective January 1, 2026, and how this website uses cookies is described in our Cookie Policy.

What information does this website collect?

This website does not ask you to submit health information, and it has no forms for medical details. It collects only the following:

  • The email address you give us. If you fill in the "Get information by email" form, we receive the email address you enter.
  • Messages you send us. If you write to one of the email addresses on this website, we receive your address and whatever you include in the message.
  • Usage statistics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read, as described below.
  • Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.

How do we use your email address?

We use the email address you leave in the form only to reply with information about the clinic. We do not add it to marketing lists, sell it or share it with advertisers. Please do not include symptoms, diagnoses or other medical details in the form or in an email.

To stop receiving messages from us, reply to any message or call (707) 980-6636.

How does this website use Google Analytics and cookies?

We use Google Analytics, a service of Google LLC, to understand how the website is used: for example, how many people visit, which pages they read and what kind of device they use. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and the pages you view. We use this information in aggregate to improve the website. We do not use it to identify you, we do not combine it with patient records, and we do not use it for advertising. Google's advertising features are turned off.

We also use Google Search Console, which shows us general statistics about how people find this website in Google Search, such as search terms and clicks. It does not place cookies in your browser and does not tell us who you are.

Our Cookie Policy lists each cookie, what it is for and how long it lasts.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The website works without cookies. Google describes how it handles this information in its privacy policy.

Does this website respond to "Do Not Track" signals?

Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for how websites should respond to it, so this website does not change its behavior when it receives one. Apart from Google Analytics, described above, we do not allow other parties to collect information about your activity on this website over time or across other websites.

Do we sell or share personal information?

No. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing or for advertising. We share information only with the service providers that help us run this website, such as our hosting, analytics and email providers, and when the law requires it.

How is your medical information protected?

Medical information you give us as a patient, in person, by phone or by fax, is protected by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and by California law, which may provide additional protections for medical information. It is not collected through this website. Our Notice of Privacy Practices explains how we may use and disclose that information, the rights you have over it and how to reach our Privacy Officer.

How do you contact us without sharing health information online?

To schedule, ask a question or send a referral, use the phone or fax numbers on our contact page. Please do not send medical information to us by email.

Links to other websites

Some pages link to other websites, such as Google Maps, our online payment provider or our appointment calendar for independent medical opinions. Those websites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle information.

Text messages

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from any information sharing.

How long do we keep information, and how is it protected?

We keep the email address you give us only as long as we need it to answer you, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Google Analytics data is kept for the period set in our Google Analytics account and is then deleted automatically. This website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). No website can guarantee complete security, which is one more reason not to send medical details online.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them through it. A parent or guardian who believes a child has given us information through this website can call us to have it deleted.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we hold from this website about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your email address. If you live in California, state law may give you additional rights over your personal information; contact us and we will respond to your request.
